Jose Febus Rivera, of Hamden, was riding his motorcycle between 12:30 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, when he crashed near the Milford Parkway exit (Exit 38)on I-95 north, according to authorities. Raging Dumpster Fire Nearly Destroys Westport Home Westport firefighters stopped a fast-moving dumpster fire from spreading to a nearby home Thursday morning, June 12, officials said. The blaze broke out about eight feet from a home on Hales Court just before 11:30 a.m.  When Westport crews arrived, the dumpster was fully engulfed in flames, with the heat melting the siding on a nearby home.  Firefighters worked quickly and were able to put out the flames in just seven minutes.
