Joseph Lugo, of Hartford, died after a stabbing reported around 7:30 p.m. on Columbus Boulevard in New Britain, according to police.  A GoFundMe campaign seeking $3,000 to help his family cover funeral expenses said Lugo was trying to defend a woman when he was stabbed.
