Getaway Driver In NY UPS Warehouse Heist Was Philadelphia Man: Police
A Philadelphia man acted as the getaway driver in the heist of a New York UPS warehouse in which the security guard barricaded himself inside, bringing an area SWAT team to the scene, authorities said. The incident took place in Nanuet, Rockland County around 4 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 7, Clarkstown Police Det. Norm Peters said. A woman claims that a man attached an Apple AirTag tracking device to her car to stalk her after she left a bar, according to the New York Post. The community is mourning the loss of a security guard and soon-to-be father who was killed on the job at a Philadelphia office building. Nassir Day, 25, confronted a man who walked into the lobby of the building Friday with a large knife, authorities said. Police are once again reminding residents to lock their vehicles and remove their key fobs after reports of numerous vehicle larcenies in parking lots in Fairfield County. A 33-year-old security guard whose K9 officer bit a man outside of a New Jersey restaurant has been charged with aggravated assault, authorities said. Steven T. There's a new Uber scam and police are warning area residents to be aware of it. Scam callers claiming to be Uber employees say they need to verify your account login credentials.
