A 24-year-old man is behind bars after police say they caught him with crack cocaine, fentanyl, and over $2,000 in cash during a traffic stop in Dutchess County.
The bust happened on Wednesday, April 23, when troopers spotted a 2023 Chevrolet Malibu driving in violation of state traffic law on South Clinton Street in the City of Poughkeepsie, New York State Police announced on Thursday, April 24.
Troopers stopped the car and identified the driver as Hudhayfah Abdullahi, 24, and his 26-year-old male passenger, both Poughkeepsie residents.

Cocaine Seized In Early Morning Drug Raid: 2 Arrested In Poughkeepsie, Police Say
An early morning SWAT raid at a home in Dutchess County led to the arrest of two people and the seizure of drugs and cash, authorities announced.
The bust happened around 5:05 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, when members of the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department’s Neighborhood Recovery Unit and Poughkeepsie SWAT executed a search warrant at 237 Church St., the department said.
The warrant followed an investigation into drug sales in the area. Inside the residence, officers recovered quantities of crack cocaine, powder cocaine, cash, and additional evidence, according to investigators.
